My Courses

This introduction to our parenting session will create a space to talk about anything and everything. Over the next six weeks, we will venture into understanding what neurodiversity, of all and any kind means for your young person, and for you and what may sometimes seem like a different language between you, is not that at all.

We will consider different ages and stages and look at the agony and the ecstasy. From sleeping, to communicating, to learning, to just being okay. We can consider it all. And help each other too. Each childhood journey is unique, each family is unique. Tolerance and shared dignity for everyone who lives in your life and shares the love for your children is paramount. All our welfare matters. You are all on a journey, and we are going to simply consider the steps, one at time.

Session 1 –  “I am not giving you a hard time, I am having a hard time”. Behaviour is my way of communicating my needs to you.

Session 2 – Eating and sleeping

Session 3 – Lying and how a child creates their own safe spaces…books, screens and other worlds

Session 4 – Rejection Sensitivity through the ages

Session 5 – Guided Autonomy – Learning Difficulties and how to support the brain that does not want to learn to order all the time

Session 6 – Adolescence and growing up….the art and urgency of guiding, not fixing

We hope you can join us for the whole set of 6 sessions
